OKC Star SG Jalen Williams Stretchered Off Court With Apparent Left Ankle Injury
In the dying minutes of a close battle featuring the Los Angeles Clippers and defending champions OKC Thunder, star shooting guard Jalen Williams suffered a gruesome ankle injury.
Williams was driving towards the basket for a dunk, where he was met by Clippers defenders Derrick Jones Jr. and Kris Dunn. Williams lost his balance and hit the ground with his left leg underneath his body. Williams' leg was in an air cast as he exited the court, and gave a thumbs up to the crowd. Jalen Williams was a big piece in the OKC offence that led them to a ring last year, and his absence will hurt this Thunder lineup.
